I am a gaming freak and literally you would find me playing games on my Nintendo DS, most of the time. However, this habit is taking a toll on my studies, but that’s a separate issue. So, the device I am talking about is a gaming console, blessed with two separate TFT LCD screens, both measuring 3 inches in size. The screens have a resolution of 256×192 pixels, providing me with a baroque view, while playing games. Sometimes, I tend to be forgetful and probably this is the reason I forgot to mention the dimensions. Anyways, it has a mass of 300 grams and measures 148.7 x 84.7 x 28.9 mm. The Nintendo DS comes with an in-built microphone, which most of the other gaming consoles lack, providing this device an edge over the others. To my surprise, this console is fully compatible with wireless network connection, that is Wi-Fi 802.11. The Nintendo Original Protocol that it comes with is liking an icing on the cake. On top of that, the users can easily play multi-player games with other systems, with the help of a unique feature, known as Download Play. The best part is that only one game card needs to be used for this purpose. One of the features that has made me fall in love with this device is PicoChat. It allows me to interact with other users, provided they are within the local wireless range. Is not that simply great? On top of that, it’s the easiest thing to do.

All that needs to be done is to enter text, draw pictures or handwrite messages, for that matter. For drawing purposes, one can make use of the stylus that comes along. Precisely, there are four separate chat rooms, wherein one can communicate with others. The maximum number of people that can join the chat room is sixteen. Every device has a unique feature that makes it stand apart. The Nintendo DS is highly popular because it comes with a 850 mAh battery that lasts for almost 10 hours, when fully charged.
